Customers praised the wired underground electric fence for its "rock solid boundary" and reliable signal with "zero drops." The system covers large properties (up to 40 acres) and works well for multiple dogs. Installation requires time and effort for burying wire, which some found tedious. Training was generally quick (3-7 days), and the adjustable boundary width is highly valued.

road sprinting stopped

our hound used to shoot toward the road like an idiot. flags plus the beep training finally clicked. he turns back now.

traced our exact property line, not a circle

ran the wire along the full perimeter including two sharp corners near the driveway and a stretch along the creek edge. collar fires precisely at every single point. in-ground means you draw the shape yourself.

receiver collar is properly waterproof

dog swims in the pond most afternoons. collar has dealt with weeks of daily submersion without a single issue. buried wire connection has also been completely unaffected by wet weather.

signal width dial on the box is very handy

adjusting the correction zone without digging anything up is a feature we have used several times. widened near the driveway, narrowed by the garden. all done from the control box.

wired system ended the boundary drift problem

switched from wireless because the boundary kept shifting slightly day to day. the buried F600 loop has sat in exactly the same position since installation. that consistency was what we needed.

worked with our old fence line

We already had a wood fence on 3 sides but one open stretch by the barn was a problem. Ran the wire there and around the driveway cutout. Collar handled rain fine so far. Setup is not fancy, just do the work and train the dog.

not for lazy setup people

It works, but this is not a 20 minute thing. My brother helped me lay the wire and test the collar because I got confused with the first loop. Dog is learning, but slower than I hoped. If you are handy, probably fine. if not, be ready to swear a little.

good but plan your weekend

The system works good after it is in the ground. I just wish I had measured better before starting, because I had to move one corner and that was annoying as hell. The 10 levels are useful though, especially for our stubborn shepherd. Giving 4 because install took longer than I expected.

wire job but worth it

We put this around the back acre and the side gate where our lab kept sneaking out. Not gonna lie, running the wire was a Saturday project and my knees were mad. But once the flags were in and we walked him along it for a week, he got the warning zone. I like that I could turn the boundary width up near the driveway and keep it softer by the garden. feels more solid than the wireless one we tried before.

wire break near a tree root put it all down

about six weeks in a root had pushed through and broken the wire. entire boundary went offline until we tracked it down and repaired it. took two hours. worth knowing that this is a risk with buried systems.

digging sucked, fence works

buried the wire. dog learned it. no more yelling from the porch, thank god.

a weekend of digging, months of reliability

installation takes effort but what you get back is a boundary that does not move, does not drift, does not flicker near metal. has not shifted since we buried the loop.

very crisp signal

The signal line is very stable. I like the simple transmitter. Adjusting the levels is super easy.

zero stress now

literally the only thing that keeps my husky in the yard. we tried wireless before but the wired f600 is way more dependable for our property.

my retriever figured it out almost instantly. such a relief to let him roam freely without any worry. total life saver.

good with our existing fence

We already have an old farm fence, but one side has gaps where our shepherd mix kept slipping through. I ran the F600 wire along that side and around the gate area. Took some patience connecting everything and testing the line, but the collar response is consistent. I like that it is not depending on signal or satellites. Just wire in the ground doing its job.

worth every hour of digging

yes you have to bury the wire but the reliability you get in return is unmatched. no signal drops, no interference, no guessing. our husky has not escaped once since we set it up.

simple box but it works

not fancy. transmitter, wire, collar, flags. did what it said.

wire was worth the weekend

I was annoyed digging the trench, not gonna lie. But once the wire was in and the flags were up, our dog figured it out pretty quick. Now he stays inside the whole back section and I dont have to keep yelling from the deck.

rain did not bother it

Installed it last month and then we got two nasty rain days. Collar still worked, transmitter stayed dry in the garage, and the dog didnt suddenly forget the line. solid so far.

great after install, install is work

The fence works well and the signal feels reliable, but burying wire is still burying wire. My back was mad at me. Once it was in, training was straightforward and our dog respects the flags now. Taking one star off only because setup is not a quick little job.

super reliable

This fence is a life saver for our yard. The collars handle water no problem. Super happy that everything works so smooth.

glad i buried the wire

Yes, you spend a day laying the wire. But the reliability you get in return is unmatched. No signal drops, no interference, no guessing. Our husky has not escaped once.

a bit of a hassle

setup is definitely a project and the wire could be thicker. it works fine now but prepare to spend a good chunk of time digging.

l

good but tedious setup

the fence works perfectly once it is in the ground. burying the wire took me a whole afternoon though. just a heads up, it is a bit of a workout!

the wire nuts were handy

Small thing, but I appreciated that the kit had the wire nuts and test light. I am not super handy and did not want to run back to the hardware store five times. We used the 500 ft kit around a smaller yard. Dog took about a week with short training sessions. So far no breaks and no escapes.

Highly Accurate

The precision of this wired system is way better than wireless ones. There are no signal wobbles at all. My dog learned where the boundary is in just a couple of days.

P

needed extra flags

Good system for our 3 acre layout. I just wish it came with more flags for a bigger loop. We bought extras and then training went better. Collar and transmitter have been fine.

crisp signal all the way around

ran the wire along our whole perimeter including two sharp corners near the shed. the collar responds exactly where it should at every point. very precise system.

my beagle got humbled

beagle used to sneak past the old split rail fence like he paid taxes here. not anymore. flags helped a ton during training.

Perfect for custom shapes

I love that I could run the wire exactly where I wanted to block off the pool and the garden. The F600 gives you total control over the containment area.
