Frequently Asked Questions

The F910 model offers coverage of up to 5 acres in ideal environments. The actual range may vary depending on your surroundings, but the system allows you to customize the containment area to suit your property.

The adjustable collar is designed for medium to large pets and fits neck sizes ranging from 9 to 23 inches. It’s lightweight and comfortable, ensuring a secure fit for your furry friend.

The Pawious F910 is incredibly easy to set up. Simply place the transmitter in a central location, adjust the range to your desired area, and pair the waterproof collar with the system. No digging or wires are required.

Absolutely! The collar is IPX7 waterproof, making it suitable for all-weather use. Your dog can safely wear it during rain or while playing near water without any issues.

Real-time distance tracking allows you to monitor how far is your dog at any moment directly on the transmitter screen. Additionally, the transmitter alerts users with beeps if the dog attempts to escape the fencing area.

The Forbidden Area mode creates a designated no-entry zone for pets, allowing users to establish areas where pets are not permitted. For example, users can designate the kitchen or a baby's room as a forbidden area to prevent pets from entering. When the pet approaches the forbidden zone, the collar emits a warning signal, prompting the pet to retreat.

Customers praised this wireless containment system for its easy setup, adjustable circular boundary up to 5 acres, and accurate radar technology. "Best money I've spent this year," one said. Many appreciated the no-dig installation and forbidden area mode. Some noted challenges with uneven terrain, thick trees, or small yards where minimum range triggered indoors.

Outstanding product, but the people are even better

For over 10 years, I have used a certain popular brand name underground fence. I have five dogs, and it’s very important to keep them safe. I have probably replaced at least half a dozen of those underground fences, as they have all failed at some point, with one failure in particular being spectacular, in that it began correcting all five of my dogs at once while they were inside of the house and well inside the perimeter. I have about 2 1/2 acres for them to roam.

I finally got tired of replacing those units, and started searching for something better. That is when I found PAWIOUS. The design and the beautiful color display immediately caught my eye. After some research, I decided to order one.

Keep in mind that I have five dogs. I ordered the F910 for three dogs, and one additional collar. My plan was to buy the fifth collar later on down the road.

After I placed the order, I got an email from their wonderful support representative, Sofiia. She was checking with me to make sure that I understood that each unit supports only three collars. She asked if the additional collar was intentional or an extra, and just ensured that I was aware of the unit specifications..

That is when I knew that I was doing business with the right people. This was something that she did not have to do. It is my responsibility as a customer to do my homework and understand what I am ordering. But she took the time to do that, and since then she has promptly responded to a few emails that I have sent. This company has staff that is reliable, prompt, and very friendly.

Now let’s move onto the unit itself. I’m so glad that I bought it. I won’t go into detail here about what it can do and how it is superior to other brands and other units, that information is available on this website. What I will say is that the versatility that it offers is unmatched in the market today. Within time it will absolutely pay for itself, as for many years, I have been paying out of my nose for expensive batteries for other brands, as well as lost and unrecovered collars.

The F910 has rechargeable colors with a C adapter, as does the base unit. The ability to adjust the perimeter with a click of the button, move from correction mode or shock to a simple vibration once training is complete, and one of my favorites, each color shows in real time it’s distance from the base unit. You get an audible tone if you want it on the base unit if you’re Dog is trying to push the limit, and in truth, there is so much that it can do that I am not yet completely up to speed on it. But I love it.

I want to thank PAWIOUS for not only an exceptional product, but exceptional people.

It is truly a breath of fresh air dealing with someone who sincerely wants the best for the customer.

I’m a big fan, and I’m here to stay.

active trio drains the collars faster than expected

system performs reliably. three very active dogs means the collars need charging every day and a half. manageable but takes planning if they are all out at once.

boundary and forbidden mode are both solid, collar runs big

both fence modes work well and the three-dog setup is manageable. collar is a bit oversized on our smallest dog compared to the two bigger ones. the reading is the same for all three.

forbidden spot helped

I mostly bought it for the forbidden area button. My dog thinks the grill corner is his personal buffet, gross little dude. Set that area smaller and used tone first. Took a few tries but now he turns away before getting there.

no wire mess

no digging. no stupid wire around the yard. dog learned it in a few days.

my lab got the idea

Lab figured it out after 3 evening walks. I still watch him, but he stops at the beep now. pretty damn nice.

had to move the base

First place I put the transmitter made the boundary weird near our garage wall. Moved it closer to the window and it got much better. So yeah it works, just test it before trusting it.

Simple once i quit overthinking it

At first I kept messing with the radius and making it too big. reset it, made the circle smaller, walked my dog around the edge with treats. Way better. The safe return thing is good too because he does not get corrected when coming back inside the yard.

ok for open yard

fine in the open lawn, not great near our metal shed. dog responds but i had to shrink the area.

good but not tiny dog sized

Works fine for my 58 lb mix. I would not put this collar on a little 8 lb dog tho. Setup was ok, took longer than the box makes it sound, but the fence itself is solid.

deck stairs are a no-go now

circular boundary for the yard running alongside the forbidden area mode blocking the garage entrance. both fence types operating from one base unit without needing separate hardware. very convenient.

three different collar sizes, same accuracy for all

medium to large dogs, all three strap sizes adjusted correctly. how the collar fires at the limit is consistent regardless of which collar you are looking at. no differences in accuracy between units.

metal carport causes patchy alerts near the boundary

open sections of the property are sharp and dependable. under the metal carport close to the boundary edge both dogs get inconsistent readings. kept them away from that structure and it stopped.

camping weekend, transmitter on the picnic table, sorted

brought it along for the trip, set a smaller circle around the campsite, collar held the limit all weekend. no physical installation needed at a new location. very practical.

works at our camper

we use it at home and when we take the camper out. circular fence is easy enough once you know the buttons. I like the warning strength settings because my dog needs more than a polite beep when rabbits show up. battery lasted all weekend afternoons so far.

five acres covered cleanly

wireless transmitter handles the full property with no dead zones at the far boundary. all three dogs respond without exception to the limit. base unit display is easy to navigate.

coming back in without another correction is a big deal

dogs can return through the boundary without triggering another alert on the way in. makes the whole system less stressful and made training meaningfully more straightforward.

range is easy to change

I like that I can make the circle smaller when the kids are playing outside and bigger when it is just the dog. The distance screen helped me see when he was getting close. Not fancy app stuff, just buttons, which honestly I prefer.

good but move the base around

It works now, but the first place I put the transmitter gave weird alerts near the back wall. I moved it closer to a window and made the radius a little smaller. Much better after that. Taking one star because I had to mess with it more than expected.

great for yard, not woods

Open lawn yes. Thick trees no. I had to pull the boundary away from the wooded corner or it got annoying. For the main yard it works and my dog gets the warning before he wanders off.

too much setup for me

Probably fine for someone with a simple open yard. Mine is small and crowded and I got tired of adjusting the range. Dog got alerts, so it wasnt broken, just not right for my place.

big yard approved

Weve got a long open side yard and this covers it great. I set it well back from the road because Im not dumb. Dog still has plenty of room and comes back when the collar starts its warning.

saved me a lot of effort

took less than an hour to get everything running. much easier than burying wires in the ground.

works great for 3 dogs

I was not sure about a wireless fence for three dogs, but this system is perfect. The wireless technology is very accurate and keeps everyone safely in the yard.

Consistently accurate

After a month of use, I can confirm the boundary has not drifted once. The precision is exactly as advertised.

easy enough for my dad

Bought it for my dads place because he is not installing an app for anything, ever. Buttons made more sense to him. We set the boundary around his mowed yard and trained his old mutt slowly. He called me two days later just to say the dog stayed put.

Highly Reliable System

These collars are much better than other brands I have used. Setup was very simple and the screen is easy to understand. I really like how accurate the boundary is for my dogs.
